Newtown Creek pH Levels

Newtown Creek, though polluted, is a very vital part of New York history. The pollution in Newtown Creek is a big problem. I'm going to be talking to you about the pH levels in Newtown Creek. pH is the amount of acid or base in a body of water. pH is rated on a scale of 0-14 where 0-7 is acidic and 7-14 is basic. Newtown Creek is rated as a 7.0. This means it's a nuetral level. It is not too acidic like orange juice and not too basic like a bleach.
